Non-EU/EEA students
Bachelor's degrees:
Tuition fee for academic year 2018/2019:
€8700
The tuition fee for the academic year 2018/2019 must be paid at the time of confirming the study place. The fee must be paid at once and cannot be paid in installments.
There will be
no tuition fee for non-EU/EEA students who
- have started their studies before 1 August 2017
- who have accepted the study place in the 2016 joint application and have enrolled as absent
- study in degree programmes taught in Finnish
- have an EU Blue Card
- have a continuous residence permit card in Finland, type A permit
- have a permanent residence permit card in Finland, type P permit
- have an EU Family Member's Residence Card in Finland
- have an EU residence permit for third-country citizens with long-term residence permit card in Finland (Type P-EU)

Exemption from tuition fees:
In order to be exempted from paying tuition fees, please provide one of the following documents to the admission services of HAMK:
- EU Blue Card
- Continuous residence permit card in Finland, Type A permit
- EU Family Member's Residence Card in Finland
- Permanent residence permit card in Finland, Type P permit
- EU residence permit for third-country citizens with long term residence permit card in Finland (Type P-EU)
The document must be submitted by 7 February 2018 (for application period 1 of the joint application), by 13 April 2018 (for application period 2 of the joint application) and within 14 days after submitting the online application (for HAMK's own application on 25 January - 30 April 2018).
Please notice: if you receive one of the documents mentioned above at any point of the admission process, please provide us the document immediately.
EU/EEA students
There will be
no tuition fee for EU/EEA citizens. Check the specific list of the EU/EEA countries
here.
In order to be exempted from paying tuition fees, please provide one of the following documents to the admission services of HAMK:
- Passport or identity card to indicate the citizenship of EU/EEA/Switzerland (citizens of Finland are not required to provide proof of their citizenship as it will be verified from the population register)
The document must be submitted by 7 February 2018 (for application period 1 of the joint application), by 13 April 2018 (for application period 2 of the joint application) and within 14 days after submitting the online application (for HAMK's own application on 25 January - 30 April 2018).

HAMK Scholarship for Bachelor's Degree Studies
HAMK will offer you a scholarship of 45% of your annual tuition fee if your studies have progressed according to the schedule below.
In order to receive the scholarship, you need to complete:

27 ECTS
credits in the first academic semester (August – December)

55 ECTS credits in each academic year (August – July)
The scholarship for Bachelor's degree studies will be granted annually after the student has fulfilled the conditions of the scholarship.
The scholarship can be granted at the earliest after studying for one semester.
The maximum duration of the scholarships is the estimated studying time: 3.5 years in the Degree Programme in International Business and 4 years in the Bachelor of Engineering degree programmes.
