Competence assessment is based on knowledge and skills needed in the world of work. These are described as learning outcomes in your degree programme. During your studies you demonstrate your competences together with other students or individually. The assessment is based on your competence with regard to the evaluation criteria and you will be graded from 1 to 5 or with the scale Approved /To be completed.
Continuous feedback is an essential part of assessment. In practice, this means ongoing collaboration and interaction with other students, teachers and mentors at the workplace. You will get oral and written feedback on how your competences are developing. The idea of feedback is to encourage you to develop. You have the central role in self-assessment and peer assessment.
Competence assessment is implemented in a variety of ways and in diverse environments. You can find more detailed descriptions of how competence assessment is implemented on your degree programme's web pages.
