Hamk library has a collection of more than 160 000 e-books on various subjects to suit all our students and staff alike.
E-books do not wear out nor do they disappear. They come in many languages but mostly in English and Finnish. For English e-books check out Dawsonera, Ebrary, Ebsco and Safari databases in Finna.
In some cases you can download the whole e-book to your own device for a fixed time. Thus you won't be needing network connection.
First go to Hamk Finna and don't forget to login with your Hamk user ID and password.
Try Finna search out by writing for example "quality management" on Finna's main search field. Then choose Available online from Narrow search on the right. This limit leads you to several dozens of e-books, e-theses and e-journals on the subject.
A list of all Hamk e-book services is available at your convenience. You can also search for individual databases' name and enter the databases' own interface. We recommend this particularly with Ebrary since not all Ebrary e-books are searchable via Finna.
Don't forget you are more than welcome to suggest an e-book purchase, too. Hamk library policy is to prefer e-material over printed.
