Publishing nominated proposals for best inclusive and flexible eLearning or blended learning practices 2019
Nominates of the Call for the best inclusive and flexible eLearning or blended learning practices 2019 have been chosen. The Call was organized to reveal and map best accessible and inclusive eLearning and Universal Design for Learning practices in European higher education. The aim is to develop a freely available corpus of best practices to help staff in higher education institutions to support the widest diversity of students, regardless of backgrounds, experiences, learning styles and abilities.
By the end of the deadline, nine proposals were received. All proposals were carefully evaluated by the panel of experts selected by the TINEL. Of the nine proposals four were selected as nominals:
- FIN, Aalto University: Nordic Rebels: A Blended Approach to Fix Higher Education
- NO, University of Agder: Digital competency – An introductory course to digital tools for education and collaboration
- FIN, HAMK: The Video Documentary “Songs from the Life” as a part of final thesis of three students (Bachelors of Social Services)
- FIN, University of Jyväskylä: Crossing borders without travel: Virtual exchange practices for students.

Announcement of the winning entries will be done at the Best European Universal Design in Higher Education 2019 Conference, in Jyväskylä, Finland on the 28th – 29th of August, 2019. Publication of winning entries will be available on the TINEL Project website on the 30th of August 2019, www.hamk.fi/tinel .
