HAMK Library services only online from 17 March until further notice
Due to the current Coronavirus situation, HAMK Library services are available only online starting from 17 Mar until the outbreak has calmed down. We will inform you when the libraries return back to normal opening hours.
All HAMK library services are now online, all campus libraries are closed. We are hoping for an active online presence from our customers! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask us, we are here for you. You can find our contact details below.
Books for studying
If you can’t access a book you would need for a course or your thesis, please contact library collection services at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will find out if the book is available online. If it’s not, we will help you to find other available material.
Help with information search
You can find guidance with information search in library web page. Please contact us at email@example.com if you have any questions.
Library has extended the renewal count at the moment. Students and other customers can renew loans 10 times and staff can renew loans 20 times. Login and attach your library card to HAMK Finna if you haven’t done that before. You should see your loans listed in your own account. Renewal is also possible in HAMK App (only for students and staff).
It’s not possible to make new book reservations at the moment for books that are on shelves. The reservations pick up date has been extended until we are safe to open the libraries again. The date will change according to the regulations, we will keep you updated. Please remember to cancel your reservation if you don’t need it anymore. You can cancel your reservations in HAMK App or by contacting the library customer service.
As all HAMK campuses are closed, you can’t return books to the libraries at the moment. Please don’t mail the books to the library either while the libraries are closed.
There will be no overdue fees from overdue books starting on 17 Mar. Library fees that have been accumulated before 17 Mar need to be paid in full in HAMK Finna. Please remember to renew your loans whenever possible.
Library self-service is closed
As all HAMK campuses are closed, HAMK library self-service is closed too. HAMK students and staff can’t access the libraries with their key cards until further notice.
