Covid instructions
Following the instructions given by the Ministry of Education and Culture and Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare on 5 August, 1st and 2nd year Bachelor students at HAMK are starting the academic year on campus. Our goal is that by the beginning of the second period all students will study on campus.
The restrictions concerning public events do not apply to university education and research as such. However, mass lectures that can easily be held online will not be organized on campus. Moreover, contact lessons will be recorded as applicable and kept available for students until the end of the study module. This way we aim to ensure that e.g. students who have flu symptoms or are on quarantine are able to proceed with their studies.
During contact lessons we aim to maintain safety distances of two metres and keep necessary contacts as few and short as possible. Good protection (masks, hand hygiene) is extremely important. If you have any Covid symptoms, do not come to campus. Avoid contacts and get tested even if you are fully vaccinated.
