All lessons in 8–16 study model (full-time studies) will be carried out as contact lessons on campuses as of the beginning of the second module, that is 25 October. As a general rule, teaching is not arranged as a hybrid model, although students’ study progress is taken care of, for example, by recording contact lessons and keeping them available in Moodle (Learn) for a limited time.
We follow THL´s (Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare) mask recommendations, according to which it is still recommended to use a mask particularly in crowded public indoor areas, and especially if you have not been vaccinated. Hand sanitizer is widely distributed on campuses. There are no more restrictions on gatherings.
We encourage everyone to get vaccinated. The first dose of vaccine will be given in the lobby of Building N of the Hämeenlinna University Centre on 7th October between 10:00 and 15:00 without an appointment, address: Vankanlähde 9, Hämeenlinna. Only the first vaccination can be given at the event. You must have your identification card / passport with you. Do not come to the walk-in vaccination if you have any flu symptoms.
