Student, back at campus, now is a good time to check out the library services! You can check the service hours of the Hämeenlinna University Centre library on Finna. The campus libraries of Evo, Forssa, Lepaa, Mustiala, Riihimäki and Valkeakoski are on self-service.

Have you got a library card already?
You can activate your library card yourself in the Tuudo app under the Library tab. Watch this video on how to create a card.
Please note that, as you create your card you also choose a PIN code, which you will need every time you borrow books with the lending machines.
If you don’t have a Finnish social security number or Tuudo is not working, you can apply for a library card by filling out this form. You will receive further instructions when we have processed your application.
Also remember to get a key card, which allows you to access the library during self-service hours. Your right to access the library will take effect within 24 hours of activating the key card.

Remember to connect your library card to Finna
When you have a library card on Tuudo, go and connect your library card to your HAMK credentials on Finna. You can do this by logging in to Finna using the Haka login and your HAMK credentials. After you have logged in, you will see a page asking for your library card number and PIN code. Your library card number is located underneath the bar code in Tuudo.
After you have submitted your library card information you can e.g., save searches, create lists of favourites, and pay fines on Finna.

New manuals for using the library
We have put together some new manuals for using the library on the library web pages. Currently, you can find instructions on how to check a book’s edition and how to find a book on the shelf. The new manuals can be found here.

Also make sure to check out the guides on using e-materials on HAMK Finna. You can find them here.

You can still play Thesis Mystery – the library’s online game! It introduces you to using the library. Play it here.
