HAMK is easing covid recommendations: Welcome back to campuses!

The remote work and study recommendations at HAMK have ended, and we are returning to the campuses. From the beginning of March, the group size restrictions will also be lifted. This means that teaching for groups of more than 40 people will also be held on the premises.

Face-to-face meetings are particularly important after the pandemic. We want to rebuild the community and foster student well-being and well-being at work.

Therefore, in work and study practices, we will return to the normal state before the pandemic. For staff, this means returning to previous remote work practices. In individual cases, students can contact their head of degree program and staff can contact their supervisors if needed.

We will, of course, monitor the pandemic situation closely in case the recommendations should be reviewed.

We are still requiring the use of masks and proper hand hygiene. If you have flu symptoms, please do not come to campus.

We are following the guidelines issued by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL). If your overall health is good and you are experiencing mild respiratory symptoms you are generally not required to contact health care services nor get tested for Covid-19.

However, THL recommends that you should voluntarily avoid contact with people who do not live with you in the same household for at least five days.
