Library services for clients outside of HAMK during autumn 2022
HAMK library also offers its services to library clients who are not HAMK or HAMI students or staff at the Hämeenlinna University Centre library.
Getting a library card
You can apply for a free library card by filling out library card application. After filling out the application, you can collect your library card from the Hämeenlinna University Centre library during opening hours by showing a photo ID. Check the current opening hours and possible exceptions on HAMK Finna or the library website.
Once you have your library card, you can log in to online library HAMK Finna with your card number and a PIN-code. You can check your loans, renew them and pay fines, if needed, on HAMK Finna.
Printed materials and placing reservations
Library clients outside of HAMK have access to all the library print collections. Materials will be transported to Hämeenlinna University Centre library for pick-up free of charge.
Place reservations on books by sending the information via email to email@example.com.
If you want to reserve several items, it is possible to save them to a list on HAMK Finna and send that list straight to the library. Remember to mention that you want to place reservations.
Clients outside of HAMK can access nearly all the library’s e-resources on-site at the Hämeenlinna University Centre library.
