HAMK 30 YEARS

Häme University of Applied Sciences 30 years

Häme University of Applied Sciences is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Many goals related to education, research and internationalisation have been achieved. HAMK wants to be an even stronger player both regionally, in the whole country and internationally also in the future. 

Häme University of Applied Sciences was among the first in Finland to be accepted into the university of applied sciences experiment, which began in 1992. The permanent concept of university of applied sciences was launched four years later. Today, HAMK has about 8,000 students and about 700 staff members. 

HAMK has always developed its operations purposefully. HAMK’s strategy was updated in 2019 and it has achieved results in all its key objectives. Read more.
