HAMK Finna is your most important information source, for it lists all HAMK library collections. To access the electronic material (e-books, e-journals, databases), login to HAMK Finna with your HAMK username and password. Acquisition policies

HAMK library acquires material to the campus libraries according to the HAMK library collection policy. You can suggest a new book to be acquired to HAMK library collections using the acquisition suggestion form.

Publishing support

Publishing is a way for every teacher and researcher to communicate about new methods and innovations in teaching and interesting results found in research. Publishing promotes the visibility of research and teaching conducted at HAMK and improves the societal impact of research. According to the HAMK’s principles of openness, teacher and researchers at HAMK are advised to prefer open publication forums. In addition, HAMK requires the research publications written in HAMK to be published in HAMK’s open publication archive Theseus.

Library and information services offer support and guidance in questions concerning publishing. The publications made by HAMK staff are reported to the Ministry of Education and Culture annually, as are other performances related to the performance management of institutes of higher education. The HAMK publications register is maintained by the library.
