Studying during Covid (Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree)
Coronavirus-related guidelines 24 Jan 2022.
HAMK is returning to contact lessons starting 1 February. We are also lifting the recommendation on remote work and returning to work on campuses.
Return to campuses can take place in phases during February. Large student groups (over 40 people) in 8–16 study model are advised to be taught online until the end of February. The arrangements are planned and instructed by our degree programmes.
We are still requiring the use of masks and proper hand hygiene. If you have flu symptoms, please do not come to campus.
We are following the guidelines issued by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL). If you are basically healthy and you have mild respiratory symptoms and your general sense of health is good, there is usually no need to contact health care services, or to make an appointment for a coronavirus test at health care services.
However, THL recommends that you should voluntarily avoid contact with people who do not live with you in the same household for at least five days.
We no longer share information about exposures on campuses.
For the time being we are not arranging public events on campuses.
Our sports facilities remain closed until The Regional State Administrative Agency announces that they can be opened.
On this page (see right hand side) you can find degree programme -specific information about teaching arrangements.
