Unlocking the Subtle Art of Communication: A RUN-EU Student Council Summit combined with a Youth Exchange School (YES)

We are hosting the second official RUN European University (RUN-EU) Student Council Summit together with a YES week – The Subtle Art of Communication at HAMK’s Hämeenlinna campus on 22.-26.4.2024. This week brings together student council members from all the RUN-EU higher education institutions (HEIs).

This week will allow the students to embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment as the corridors of higher education echo with the vibrant exchange of ideas. The spotlight will fall on the nuanced tapestry of communication as student council members from diverse backgrounds converge for a transformative learning opportunity. Through workshops, debates, and interactive sessions, they hone their skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and consensus-building, laying the foundation for impactful leadership. The week bring together more than 20 student council members from all the eight RUN-EU HEIs

During the summit students will join forces in discussing the role and meaning of student councils within RUN-EU, developing the ways to leave their mark as a part of European University Alliances.

Student councils provide a platform for students to advise RUN-EU on its strategy, achievements and impact. Each RUN-EU member has their own student council which collaborates together. New student council members are chosen yearly.
