RuokaKoordinaatti-project brings together different actors in the food sector, ensuring that both rural businesses and food processing companies or actors developing supply chains have sufficient competence and knowledge of the activities and development taking place around them.

The food industry believes in collaboration as well as innovative co-development. In Kanta-Häme, the common goal is to become a regional pioneer of a sustainable food system. The key objective of the RuokaKoordinaatti-project is 1. to increase awareness of businesses and other actors in the region of the RDI-activity from primary production to refining industry; 2. to develop common practices as an umbrella project for meeting and networking actors and for communicating; 3. to clarify Häme’s food strategy and maintain an action plan related to this and 4. to share information from the funding calls of both national and international funding instruments.

Target group

The target group of the project is the current and future companies in Kanta-Häme region operating in the food chain, primary production and food processing.
