The purpose of the project is to identify the essential accessibility information necessary for barrier-free movement by mapping the travel experiences of people with temporary or more permanent disabilities from the entire travel chain.
1) Mapping the accessibility of mobility services, service processes, travel chains and hubs from the point of view of people with temporary or more permanent mobility impairments.
2) Based on the mapped results, defining the critical accessibility information of the mobility services, service processes, nodes and infrastructure included in the travel chain from the user perspective of the services.
3) Organizing the components and actors of the MaaS architecture for barrier-free movement in the city and region of Riihimäki. Accessibility information is collected through interviews, observations, travel diaries and monitoring methods. The definition of essential accessibility information is carried out in workshops.
The project’s primary target group is made up of persons with mobility and functional disabilities in Riihimäki and the Riihimäki region who use barrier-free mobility services temporarily or permanently. The secondary target group is operators, companies and associations that provide mobility services in Riihimäki and the Riihimäki region.
