Strategic Communication
About me
I work as a Communications Planner as part of HAMK’s Strategic Communications team. I have been working at HAMK since the beginning of the 2021 academic year, and I hold a Master’s degree in Social Sciences with a background in political science.
My main areas of responsibility include public affairs and stakeholder communications, as well as alumni communications. I plan and deliver communications that support the implementation of HAMK’s strategy and highlight the impact of HAMK’s education, research and applied RDI activities to different target audiences. I work closely with HAMK’s senior management, experts and partners. I provide support and sparring, and help shape ways to communicate even complex issues and processes clearly, understandably and at the right time.
What inspires me most in my work is creating meaningful change through communications. I enjoy being involved in enabling societal impact – particularly in strengthening higher education and applied RDI – and in increasing stakeholders’ understanding of the significance of the work carried out at HAMK and the wide range of cooperation opportunities we offer.
