About me

I work at the Unit for Research and Development of Higher Education Pedagogy (HEPeda), PedaWell research group. My work focuses on higher education learning, teaching, and well-being, as well as their research and development.

I lead the development and research of the LearnWell learning experience survey and coordinate activities related to RUN-EU doctoral education at HAMK. My research focuses on student and academic staff well-being, learning experiences, and doctoral career pathways, with a particular interest in how higher education institutions can support meaningful, sustainable, and well-being-enhancing study and career trajectories.

I actively engage in national and international research and development collaboration and publish research on higher education pedagogy, learning, and well-being. I hold a PhD from the University of Helsinki.

You can contact me regarding the LearnWell learning experience survey, RUN-EU doctoral education, higher education pedagogy, learning and teaching in higher education, curriculum and teaching development, as well as student and staff well-being. I am also happy to discuss research and development collaboration, training, workshops, expert presentations, keynote speeches, and guest lectures.
