HAMK celebrates Pride Week by flying flags on all campuses
Kansainvälisen Pride-kuukauden juhlinta huipentuu Kanta-Hämeessä kesäkuun toisella viikolla, kun eri puolilla maakuntaa järjestetään Pride-tapahtumia. Hämeen ammattikorkeakoulu osallistuu yhdenvertaisuutta edistävään juhlaviikkoon nostamalla sateenkaariliput salkoihin kaikilla kampuksillamme.
The celebration of International Pride Month culminates in Kanta-Häme in the second week of June, with Pride events held across the region. Häme University of Applied Sciences is participating in this week of equality celebrations by raising rainbow flags on all our campuses.
Pride flag-flying at HAMK campuses has been organised annually since 2019. This year, we will be flying the flags on our Kanta-Häme campuses from 10th to 16th June. On the Valkeakoski campus, the rainbow flag was already raised on 5th June, as the Valkeakoski Pride event took place on that date.
Pride Celebrations in Kanta-Häme
In both Hämeenlinna and Riihimäki, the main Pride week events will be held on Friday, 14th June, but smaller events will be organised throughout the week.
