New Online Course about Information Searching

Would you like to refresh your information searching skills at your own pace? HAMK Library’s online course on information searching is now available! The course is especially designed for students starting their thesis, but you can also use it to support your search skills earlier in your studies.

The course begins with the basics of information searching, such as the stages of the search process and how to think about search terms. It also includes tips on where to start your search and how to use artificial intelligence in information searching. The course includes text, exercises and videos. You can also listen to the course texts.

You can complete the entire course or explore only the sections that interest you most. The course and its exercises are not assessed, and no credits are awarded.
