New Student! Library Services for You in Autumn 2026

HAMK library offers the resources you need for your studies and helps you access them. You can find us on all HAMK campuses and online. It is free to register as a HAMK library customer and to use HAMK library services. Library customer service helps you on campuses, by phone +358 3 646 4700 and email hamk.kirjasto@hamk.fi.

Get started

Start by creating a library card in Tuudo app. You can find Tuudo library card in lower right menu, then choose Student services and Library. Note that you can also add library to favourites in the menu!
The card can instantly be used to borrow printed material from the library. Remember to come by later to show your Finnish ID number in the library.

If Tuudo doesn’t work, fill out the library card application.

Add your library card to HAMK Finna to use all our services. Log in to HAMK Finna using your HAMK ID. Go to “Your Account” and “Library Cards”.  Scroll down to “Connect library card” and enter your library card number and PIN.
You can find HAMK campus libraries’ service hours on online library HAMK Finna. Read more about campus libraries on our website. Get to know HAMK library with Library info video.

HAMK library collections

You can find all HAMK library collections in our online library HAMK Finna. Log in with your HAMK ID to access the electronic material (e-books, e-journals, databases). Check detailed instructions on HAMK Finna.
As a HAMK library user, you can borrow printed materials from any campus library for free. You can also reserve books from any campus and choose where to pick them up. Printed books can be borrowed for 28 days at a time.
All campus libraries have magazines, which you can read in the library. Access e-magazines through HAMK Finna. Most of the e-magazines can be accessed off-campus too.

Library self-service

As a HAMK student you will be able to use the library outside of the library service hours. This is called library self-service.
The campus libraries of Evo, Forssa, Lepaa, Mustiala, Riihimäki and Valkeakoski are mostly on self-service: the library staff is present once a week. Check the service days on HAMK Finna.
Access library self-service with the campus key card. During the self-service hours you can stay and study at the library, borrow and return books using the self-check machine and pick up and borrow your reservations.

Help with information searching

As a part of your studies, you will get guidance to help you find reliable information for your studies. You can also always come to the library customer service desk for help or book a personal guidance session online. Read more on our website.
