2021 Graduates: Respond to the National Career Monitoring Survey – Opens 7 October 2026
The purpose of the national Career Monitoring Survey is to find out about the employment and career situation of university of applied sciences graduates five years after graduation. The survey will be open from 7 October to 9 November 2026.
This year, the Career Monitoring Survey is targeted at everyone who graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Finnish university of applied sciences in 2021. The survey collects information about graduates’ employment as well as their satisfaction with their degree and career.
The information collected through the survey is used, for example, to develop degree programmes and support students’ career guidance. It also provides valuable information about the employers and types of positions in which graduates have found employment. In addition, three per cent of the basic funding of universities of applied sciences is determined based on responses to the Career Monitoring Survey.
The survey is carried out annually and is coordinated by the national Career Monitoring Network of Finnish universities of applied sciences. Results from previous Career Monitoring Surveys are available in the Vipunen and on the Töissä.fi website.
Alumni, Please Keep an Eye on Your Email and Text Messages
Those who completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a university of applied sciences in 2021 will receive a personal invitation link to the Career Monitoring Survey by email and text message. In addition, some HAMK degree programmes will contact their alumni by phone during the survey period. Please keep an eye on your email and phone and respond to the survey. Your response is important to us!
Background information is obtained from Virta, the national higher education data warehouse maintained by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Responses are handled confidentially, and individual respondents cannot be identified.
