International connections, innovation and networks: three RUN-EU events at HAMK

This November, HAMK brings together international experts, students and researchers from RUN European University with companies and other regional partners. Over three days, ideas, research, innovation and regional collaboration come together, creating opportunities to exchange knowledge, build connections and discover new possibilities for collaboration across Europe.
RUN-EU Knowledge Mission
The RUN-EU Knowledge Mission brings the European network to Kanta-Häme, connecting RUN-EU universities and regional actors to exchange expertise, learn from one another and identify new opportunities for international collaboration.
During the Knowledge Mission, keynote speakers offer perspectives on innovation and regional collaboration, while a joint workshop turns ideas into active discussion and collaboration by bringing together participants’ different experiences and expertise. A field trip takes participants beyond the campus to discover regional actors, environments and collaboration in practice.
At the heart of the Knowledge Mission are encounters and knowledge exchange: how can universities, businesses and regions learn from one another and create new opportunities for collaboration together?
RUN-EU Innovation Day
RUN-EU Innovation Day brings together companies, universities, students and innovation actors to explore how collaboration can generate new solutions and strengthen regional innovation.
The day includes the final seminar of the DAVE project, highlighting project outcomes and company experiences of development and innovation. In the afternoon, the focus shifts from discussion to action: in the Innovation Workshop, multidisciplinary teams work on real challenges provided by companies, combining different perspectives, expertise and the opportunities offered by the international RUN-EU network.
The day creates a practical meeting point for companies, students and experts, and an opportunity to discover new ideas, connections and possibilities for future collaboration.
Student Research Colloquium
The RUN-EU Student Research Colloquium puts student research and emerging perspectives in the spotlight. It brings together students, researchers, university staff and other participants from across Europe to exchange ideas and engage with current research topics.
During the Colloquium, students present their research and discuss their work in an international and multidisciplinary environment. For other participants, it is an opportunity to discover emerging research themes, exchange perspectives and find new connections between research, education and working life.
The Colloquium is more than a showcase of student research, it is a meeting place for new ideas, conversations and connections.
