About me
I work in the HAMK Edu research unit as a principal research scientist and teacher educator. My current areas of development and research are vocational education degree systems, learner-centered pedagogy, and pedagogical approaches to digital learning environments and learning processes. Research and development work focuses especially on the design of learning, learning in digital environments, ePortfolios, and microcredentials. I am a Doctor of Philosophy (Adult Education) and a Master of Economic Sciences. I have worked as a teacher educator at HAMK for over ten years. My work has included participation in various national and international development projects targeting teachers and trainers. I also work on HAMK’s LeaD (Learning Design) team, focusing on developing HAMK’s internal operations from the perspectives of digital pedagogy and mentoring.
