Ville Oksanen

Hi. I’m research engineer Ville Oksanen, working in HAMK Tech’s Advanced Manufacturing research group.

I work on projects related to engineering and construction materials, additive manufacturing, circular economy, security of supply and regional engineering business ecosystem development. Furthermore, I work on research and development services for companies.

I have master’s degree in materials technology, and before HAMK, I worked in Tampere University in the field of materials characterization, wear & tribology studies and mechanical testing.

I am responsible for development, maintenance and safety in our Materials laboratory in Riihimäki campus and Forming test laboratory in Hämeenlinna.
