Purpose and Objective of the Project

The objective of this project is to support the City Forssa with new solutions and attempts to higher digital process in their working processes. Therefore, multiple different kinds of solutions are prepared and presented with an additional timeline for integration in the daily business. Finally, new business opportunities are proposed.

Solutions and Technologies

Bin-e

Teaching workers in everyday tools and automating their work. English homepage accessibility for foreigners with no or less Finnish language skills. Providing an app, used local for citizens. Mainly support elderly people with low digital skills they need. Additional app surveys and data analyzation to receive feedback solve local problems. Provide a sustainable smart waste bin (Bin-e) for advanced recycling.

Results and Impact

Teaching employees provides them with skills to be more efficient and reduce inequalities. This leads to good wellbeing and higher productivity. The same applies to teaching elderly people or in general residents in total. New technologies like smart waste bins support sustainable cities, reduce toxic impact to life on land and are innovative infrastructure addons that help grow the economy.
