Application info webinar: Professional Guidance Counsellor Education
Do you want to develop your professional identity and competence as a guidance counsellor? Take next step in your career and study to become a guidance counsellor!
The next application period for professional teacher education programmes will be held 7–21 January 2027 and HAMK’s School of Professional Teacher Education will organise application information webinars for those interested in the Professional Guidance Counsellor Education. One webinar will be held in Finnish and one in English.
The webinar in English will be held on Tuesday 12 January 2027 at 16-17.

Attending the application info webinar in English:
The webinar will be held via the Zoom web conferencing service. You can join the event directly from the link below or install the free Zoom Workplace app on your smart device and join the event using the meeting ID: 632 0902 8970.
Remember to perform an audio test on your computer when joining the session. On a smart device, accept the device audio connection (Call via Device Audio).
Webinar agenda
The application information webinar will cover matters related to the Professional Guidance Counsellor Education programme and the application process. In the webinar we will go through:
- eligibility requirements,
- application process,
- student selection procedure,
- content and study methods,
- as well as answers any questions that may arise.
If you are applying to the programme for the first time, or if you have any concerns regarding the application process, tune in and you can ask your questions the end of the webinar. If you have a more detailed question about applying, you can also send it to opehaku@hamk.fi.
