Recruitment Fair in Forestry 26.11.2025
We are organizing a Forest Recruitment Event at the Evo campus on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. During the event, forestry students will have the opportunity to meet industry professionals and employers, and learn about the skills truly needed in forestry jobs.
The recruitment event, aimed for all forestry students, is divided into two parts. The morning session for the second and third year students will be hosted by our students, featuring presentations from experts at Metsä Group and the Forest Management Association. They will speak on current topics and discuss the future of the forestry sector: What does the future look like? What kind of professionals will be needed? What will the roles of future forest experts entail?
At the same time our first-year students will participate in a joint workshop to work on their CVs, and METO – the Union of Forestry Experts – will introduce its activities to the future professionals of the field.
In the afternoon, we will start a recruitment fair open to all students, where forestry employers will meet students and present career opportunities, internships, and summer jobs within their organizations. Major players in the field, such as Stora Enso, UPM, Metsähallitus, Metsä Group, and others, have already signed up. At the same time, we will host workshops related to job seeking.
