Join us for an inspiring online session where experts from HAMK and OP share practical tools and insights for students on how to develop an entrepreneurial mindset through flexible studies, hands-on projects, and collaboration with service providers to support your journey into entrepreneurship.

A HAMK startup specialist about how you can develop your own ideas into a functioning business. You’ll also get insights from a business developer and light entrepreneurship specialist from OP Financial Group, who will introduce the self-employment model and available support services. Also, learn how HAMK’s Entrepreneurial University offers optional studies for all HAMK students to build entrepreneurial skills and explore new opportunities.

1. Develop your own ideas into functioning businesses

Jyri Leinonen – Startup Specialist, School of Business, Design and Technology at HAMK

Learn how HAMK helps students develop their own ideas into functioning businesses. You’ll also get to know how the Entrepreneurial Society (ES) operates and supports students’ growth, offering a community, resources, and inspiration for turning ideas into action.


2. Self-employment and easy steps toward entrepreneurship

Lassi Leppänen – Business developer, specialist at OP Light Entrepreneur

Intro to a practical model for self-employment, designed especially for students and graduates. You’ll gain insights into how to turn your skills and interests into a business idea, and reflect on your personal strengths that support entrepreneurial thinking.


3. HAMK’s Entrepreneurial University: Accredited learning opportunities to support entrepreneurship 

Jukka Raitanen – Senior Lecturer, Business at HAMK

Discover how HAMK implements its Entrepreneurial University concept through optional studies designed for all HAMK students. Several study modules are available in both Finnish and English. Additionally, there are options for those pursuing a master’s degree, as well as for students at the open university of applied sciences.
