Superweek 2025
The Super Week at HAMK Häme University of Applied Sciences will take place from 18/11/2025 to 21/11/2025 and has a lot to offer. The event aims to disseminate further innovative pedagogical solutions, design thinking methodologies, and the resources of the Design Factories within RUN-EU to all members. Additionally, the Superweek fosters co-creation in education.
Super Week is for all those involved in RUN-EU educational training activities as academic staff or are members of the institutional FAPSA.

Working
The sessions are primarily based on co-creation and collaborative learning principles. Participants will gain concrete tools for further implementation in teaching—this is a valuable opportunity for peer learning.
We will reflect on how to build an inspiring learning environment and explore solutions to the complex challenges students face in studying, learning, and well-being. Throughout the week, we will collaboratively tackle real, study-related challenges presented by students.
We will also focus on teachers’ well-being in relation to teaching, both in theory and practice, through exercises and pedagogical practices during the week.
Furthermore, the Super Week is an excellent opportunity to strengthen European cooperation and get to know each other better. Of course, we are also planning an introduction to Finnish nature and culture.
Programme
During the week, we will be working in groups using the Design-Based Education method. We kindly expect everyone to be actively present and participate in group activities.
Our sessions in Hämeenlinna campus will be held at HAMK Design Factory, Stage. For more information about Hämeenlinna campus, please see here.
We also provide open sessions for HAMK staff. No registration is required for the open sessions, but the capacity is limited. Please come along and listen:

You are warmly invited to a shared dinner on Tuesday, November 18.
📍Thai restaurant Aruna, in the heart of Hämeenlinna (Saaristenkatu 4, 13100 Hämeenlinna)
The restaurant is reserved from 18.00-22.00., and we hope guests will arrive for dinner between 18.00-20.00. Special dietary needs have been taken into account, but the restaurant will be happy to answer any further questions if needed.
The menu includes a welcome drink and buffet dinner. Additional services can be purchased at your own expense.

9:00 – Departure from Hämeenlinna Bus Station (Eteläkatu 1, 13100 Hämeenlinna)
19:00 – Return from Evo Campus

Activities
There is time for leisurely activities and meetings 16.00-19.00. Please choose what suits you the best.
- Sauna – There will be a sauna available for those who wish to relax.

- Walk – explore Evo and take a walk.
- Own activities – Time and space for your own activities.
