HAMK and JAMK Strengthen Systems Intelligence in Central Finland’s Manufacturing SMEs

Manufacturing SMEs in Central Finland are now enhancing their ability to see the bigger picture and collaborate effectively in networks. The development work, launched in April, helps companies renew their operations, improve productivity, and increase workplace well-being.

Together with the companies, the project will create an application model that enables the use of systems intelligence and network competence in business renewal. Currently 12 companies are involved, with a total of 27 targeted during the project. The companies will receive practical tools to respond to industry changes and harness the potential of networks.

HAMK experts bring expertise in measuring and applying systems intelligence to the projects. Close collaboration with JAMK experts ensures that SMEs can benefit from Central Finland’s evolving industrial innovation networks.

“Companies’ ability to renew and to collaborate determines how well they succeed in a rapidly changing environment. Through this work we help them strengthen competitiveness and well-being over the long term,” says Satu Jumisko-Pyykkö, Principal Research Lecturer at HAMK.
