HAMK in Assembly Summer 2025
For the first time, HAMK will participate in the Assembly Summer event, held at the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre from 31 July to 3 August 2025. Described as Finland’s largest digital culture festival, Assembly gathers nearly 30,000 gamers, coders, and technology enthusiasts.
HAMK’s School of Business, Design, and Technology will have its own stand at the event. Additionally, HAMK will be featured on the event’s programme stages on Friday 1 August, and Saturday 2 August. The Haptora Smart Sleeves, developed through HAMK’s research, will be showcased both at the stand and as part of the stage programme. The event will also feature cosplay and, of course, gaming!
HAMK students, research staff, and ICT Guidance Counsellors Iida and Satu will be present at the event. On Saturday 2 August visitors at the HAMK stand will also have the chance to play games with Nikke Eskelinen, a familiar face from TikTok. Nikke will also be testing the Haptora Smart Sleeves on the Expo stage that same day.
