The block information contains basic information about the block and events during the growing season, observations, and yield data.
Block 11
Kuivurilohko
Block basic information
Area: 10.27 hectares
Soil type: rich loamy clay (rmHeS)
The block has light soil on the edges, such as loam, where sugar beets have been grown before. The central part of the block is more challenging clay soil, which significantly delays sowing when cultivated as a whole. Once every ten years, the timing of cultivation is spot on. Nowadays, it is used as a pasture block, with renewal done in strips.
