Field 26 Ruohonen

Basic field information

Area: 9.11 hectares
Soil type: Rich sandy clay (rmHtS)

Diverse field, usually cultivated in two growth blocks. Water management issues in the lowest part of the field. Soil type limits the choice of crops. Very precise about treatment timing. Small forest island in the middle of the block. The eastern tip of the block used as a nature conservation field.

Renovation works: Drainage of the lowest part of the block in summer 2018.

24.4.2017 Alemmissa kuvissa näkyvät punaiset alueet näyttivät keväällä tältä. Lohkolla on ongelmia vedenläpäisyssä, ja niitot, karhoitukset, noukinvaunulla ajot joutuu tekemään mutkitellen märät alueet. Lohkolla on myös todella pahat painaumat vuoden 2016 kasvinsuojeluruiskutuksista.
24.4.2017 The red areas shown in the lower images looked like this in spring. The field has issues with water permeability, and mowing, raking, and driving with the pickup wagon must be done in a winding manner through the wet areas. The field also has some really bad depressions from the 2016 plant protection spraying.
