Professional guidance counsellor students for 2026 have been selected
The student selection results for professional guidance counsellor education for 2026 have been published. HAMK warmly congratulates all newly admitted students!
The application round for professional teacher education programmes was held 7.-21.1.2026 and the student selection results for professional guidance counsellor education have been published today on 19 March 2026. 12 new students were selected for the Professional Guidance Counsellor Education, and 43 students were selected for the programme in Finnish. HAMK congratulates new students on being offered a study place!
The announcement of the results were delayed due to a technical error. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Applicants have been informed of the results by email. The results are also available in the Oma Opintopolku (My Studyinfo) service. Selected students must accept their study place by 30 March 2026. Studies for new students will begin in early May. Any study places that become available due to cancellations will be offered to applicants on the waiting list during the spring.
At the same time was held application period for the professional teacher education (teacher’s pedagogical studies). The student selection results of the professional teacher education programme will be published on 26 March 2026.
Selection criteria and scores
Student selection was carried out in accordance with the published admission criteria and was based on the scoring of applications. The table below presents the number of available study places and the selection score threshold, i.e. the lowest scores required for admission.
