We examine how AI can support teacher’s work
Turku UAS, HAMK and the University of Turku produce recommendations on how teachers can use AI to review and develop their own pedagogical competence (e.g. personal feedback provided by AI), as well as on how AI can be used to support individual and team teaching and teacher well-being.
The project examines the potential of artificial intelligence to support the work of teachers, promote well-being and increase the productivity of work. Through interviews, participatory observation and surveys, the experiences and views of higher education teachers and students studying to become teachers on the use of artificial intelligence, related opportunities and challenges in the development of individual and community-based teaching are identified. The research increases understanding of the use of artificial intelligence in expert work
