Energy Observatory project provides consumers with a wide range of information on low-carbon energy solutions.

Carbon-neutral targets have been guiding energy efficiency efforts and investments by cities, businesses and citizens towards renewable energy production for a while now. However, energy prices have risen in recent years due to changes in the energy market, and price spikes for example in electricity prices are affecting everyone’s economy.

Energy Observatory – Active energy customers in built environment (ENO) project provides consumers with a wide range of information on low-carbon energy solutions. The project will develop an energy map service (energy calculator) that will allow citizens and businesses to compare the forms of energy production and the viability of energy sources suitable for their own buildings. The project will also collect research infrastructure in the form of energy data for further energy research in the Kanta-Häme region. The infrastructure will, among other things, provide a basis for research and development at different stages of innovation, support teaching and maintain and develop research and innovation capacity. The project will also organize information events and sessions on energy efficiency and energy markets for citizens, businesses and municipal decision-makers.

The project will promote the green transition in the built environment in a way that is profitable for the energy customer.

Target group

The target groups of the project are cities and municipalities as property owners, small and medium-sized enterprises as property owners and citizens.

Area of activity

The project will promote the green transition in the built environment of the Kanta-Häme region in a way that is profitable for the energy customer.
