The application period for 2024 International Professional Teacher Education has begun
The application period for the International Professional Teacher Education programme has begun on 3 January at 8:00 (EET). Applications can be sent via Studyinfo.fi. Students will be selected based on their application. The programme is recommended for individuals from Finland or abroad, who wish to complete their professional teacher education in English or who do not have the required skills in the Finnish language to qualify for similar programmes conducted in Finnish.
During the 13-month online programme, the students will learn to guide the learning of different learners and the use of diverse learning environments in teaching. Students will also learn how to develop skills in planning and conducting teaching, guidance methods, competence assessment, dialogical skills, working in networks and understanding of different theories and concepts in education sciences.
The online programme includes online meetings with lecturers, group work and independent study. The programme also includes a practical teacher training period.

- Deadline for Recognition decisions of foreign degrees on 18 March 2024

- Confirmation of study place by 8 April 2024, 15:00 (EET)
- Studies begin May 2024
