Road map for circular economy in Kanta-Häme has been published
Kanta-Häme has strong expertise and successful business operations in the sustainable use of natural resources in the bioeconomy and circular economy. The roadmap will help to develop a joint plan of measures, together with local stakeholders, to move towards a sustainable, resource-wise, circular economy region.
The roadmap aims to provide guidelines towards a sustainable circular economy in Kanta-Hämne. The project was carried out in cooperation with the stakeholders of Kanta-Häme.
The roadmap includes:
- Target goals, indicators and actions in five different themes:
Energy production and consumption
Transportation and infrastructure
Consumption and material cycles
Food production and consumption
Water use and water bodies - Examples of circular economy by local organisations
- Residents’ survey results: What measures should be taken in circular economy in your municipality?
Road map for circular economy in Kanta-Häme is part of Luo Net GOES International -project.
