The Low Carbon Energy Solutions for Rural Service Enterprises (METE2) project promotes the transfer of knowledge and know-how on energy efficiency and renewable energy investments to small and micro enterprises in the social, health and service sectors in Häme.

The project will build an energy investment assessment tool for businesses, taking into account the different daily operating hours of businesses. The project will disseminate and publish information on low-carbon energy solutions, the development process and results in the media, blogs and trade publications. The information produced by the project will also be shared with stakeholders such as the scientific community and development actors.

The project is coordinated by LAB University of Applied Sciences and co-produced by Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK).
