Transforming the Future: HAMK’s Online Master’s Degree in Wearable Technologies Launches Autumn 2026

Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) is proud to introduce its unique international Master’s degree programme: Wearable Intelligence, launching in Autumn 2026. This innovative online programme is focusing on wearable technologies andesigned for forward-thinking professionals eager to shape the future of smart textiles and exoskeleton robotics.

A Fenno-Scandinavian and Global Collaboration

The Wearable Intelligence programme is the first of its kind in the Nordics, jointly organized by three Fenno-Scandinavian universities: HAMK (Finland), the University of Borås (Sweden), and SDU (Denmark). In addition, one of the modules is designed in collaboration with Zhejiang University in China, bringing a truly global perspective to the curriculum.

Flexible Online Learning with Intensive Weeks in Finland and Sweden

The programme is delivered online, making it accessible to students worldwide. To enrich the learning experience, students participate in intensive weeks in Finland, and those  who choose Smart Textile Product Development  as optional studies will have intensive period in Borås, Sweden—offering hands-on collaboration and networking with peers and industry experts.

Graduates will be equipped to work in expert, development, planning, and management roles in wearable intelligence across global industries. The degree also provides eligibility for doctoral studies and is fully recognized in Finland and abroad.
