Admission criteria

We will select students for each program during the application period. If a program reaches its maximum capacity, we will stop accepting applications for that program. Therefore, it is important to submit your application as early as possible at Studyinfo.fi.

In this application, we will select most of the students based on their upper secondary school performance or SAT-scores. For more detailed criteria, you can find information on the degree programmes own page:

Student selection results

The student selection results will be published during the application period, at the latest by 18 June 2026. You will be sent an e-mail if you are offered a study place. You then have time until 9 July 2026 3:00 pm Finnish time to confirm the study place.

Please notice that once you confirm the study place you cannot anymore accept any other study places leading to a higher education degree in Finland if the studies begin in the same academic term.

Admission criteria

We will select students during the application period. Therefore, it is important to submit your application as early as possible.

Students are selected on the basis of an online entrance examination. The entrance examination consists of motivational and design assignments.

You will be informed about the entrance examination with an e-mail that contains the information about how to enroll to the exam platform. Please keep an eye on your e-mail (all folders).

The entrance examinations are organised four times during the application period:

• 9 – 10 December, for applicants that have applied by 1 October – 30 November 2025
• 10 – 11 February, for applicants that have applied by 1 December 2025 – 31 January 2026
• 7 – 8 April, for applicants that have applied by 1 February – 31 March 2026
• 19 – 20 May, for applicants that have applied by 1 April – 15 May 2026

Admission services will check the applicants eligibility only after passing the entrance examination.

Eligibility

You are eligible f​​or Master’s Degree studies when you have completed relevant qualification and obtained two years of work experience from the relevant field. In addition all applicants must provide proof of their English language skills.

Admissions criteria

Student selection is based on preliminary assignment (thesis plan). In Wearable Intelligence degree programme there is also an online interview for those who pass the preliminary assignment.
