About me

I am the Director of the Unit for Research and Development of Higher Education Pedagogy (HEPeda) at HAMK. I lead the PedaWell research group, which focuses on learning, teaching, and wellbeing—and the interconnections between these—in the context of higher education. My work includes research and development in higher education pedagogy at both national and international levels. I hold a PhD in Education (2007) and serve as a docent in university pedagogy at the University of Helsinki (since 2015).
