Design students and alumni, welcome to our new Career Day in Design event!
Career Day in Design at the Hämeenlinna campus on Friday 17 April, 9:00–14:00.
The day includes inspiring opening talks from industry professionals, alumni stories and practical workshops where you can strengthen the skills you need for the recruitment process.

In the afternoon, speed-dating-style pop-up workshops let you move freely between stations and have a professional CV photograph taken, receive feedback on your portfolio, practise job interviews and learn how to communicate your strengths. Coaching sessions are led by our esteemed speakers and other industry guests.
You can prepare for the workshops by compiling a mini-portfolio of 2–3 projects and considering a question or part of your portfolio that you would like feedback on. For interviews, prepare a 30-second introduction in advance in which you tell who you are, what you do and what you are looking for.
