Do you need help developing your company’s circular economy expertise and identifying new business opportunities? We offer practical support to machine and equipment manufacturers and their partner companies to strengthen their sustainable competitiveness and expertise and to develop regional networks and supply chains.

Our goal is to accelerate the transition of manufacturing industry value chains towards a circular economy by developing regional networks and promoting supply chain efficiency and security of supply. We do this by strengthening the capacity of SMEs to operate as part of larger, more sustainable, and more responsible subcontracting chains.

By taking a comprehensive view of industrial value chains, we can more effectively identify new opportunities and critical areas for development, as well as improve the efficiency of supply chains and material flows. By supporting companies in creating responsible networks and promoting their development, we strengthen the sustainable growth and vitality of the entire region. We strive to develop solutions that improve the recyclability of parts and components and reduce raw material consumption and waste. We recognize important new circular economy business opportunities for SMEs operating in the subcontracting chains of machine and equipment manufacturers, for example in the refurbishment of parts and the utilization of new technologies.

We are looking for companies that are interested in developing their business to be more sustainable and responsible, and that are willing to put change into practice. We help SMEs identify new circular economy business models and develop their operations through company-specific development plans, concrete measures, and expert support. Within the framework of the project, we offer larger machine and equipment manufacturers the opportunity to strengthen their networks’ ability to respond to changing customer needs and sustainability requirements.

Target group

The main target group for the project is SMEs operating in the value chains of machine and equipment manufacturers that want to develop their own expertise and competitiveness and take advantage of the growth opportunities offered by the circular economy in their business operations.

Operating area

The operational area includes Uusimaa and Kanta-Häme regions.

What do we do in practice?

We offer companies support and tools for:

  • Identifying the circular economy potential of their own business
  • Developing circular economy business models within the company
  • Understanding the significance of the circular economy and new technologies
  • Growing networks and the capabilities needed within them
