In FILKA project we promote data-driven design of universally accessible mobility environments and develop access to public transport in Riihimäki and Forssa.

Accessible, safe and geographically and digitally accessible mobility is one of the key priorities in the development of public services in Finland and across Europe. Addressing mobility challenges is therefore a key element of the experience of economic and social equality.

In Smart Mobility for All (FILKA) project, we develop expertise in accessibility and universal design of transport and mobility solutions. We will develop accessibility-related innovation and pilot environments in the cities of Riihimäki and Forssa, and during our activities we will create the Smart Mobility for All (FILKA) concept to strengthen universal design and the construction of accessible mobility environments.

Through participatory digital technologies, we are helping to develop urban infrastructure and mobility services in innovative ways. By increasing knowledge about accessibility solutions in the mobility environment, we will develop the universal design skills of planners and thus improve the smooth mobility of all people.
