New life-cycle sustainable ecological material solutions (UNELMAT) project initiates new research activities related to the life cycle of materials and expands the current research on bio-based materials.
All HAMK research units, HAMK Bio, HAMK Edu, HAMK Smart and HAMK Tech, participate in the project.
Research
The research carried out in the project divides into three parts.
Materials expertise focuses on research of bio-based materials, resource wisdom, and the life cycle competence of materials.
Material data bank combines the data related to the properties of materials and the application of artificial intelligence.
A vibrant ecosystem, where an ecosystem description related to new raw materials, materials and products will be formed.
