HAMK Edu
We are reforming learning, education, and educational systems in a research-based manner, developing competences and renewing learning solutions together with, for example, educational organisations, governmental departments and businesses both in Finland and globally. We use modern and impactful technologies in our research and development.
We focus on applied research and action that is ambitious, but also concrete and useful. We promote sustainable work, future education and well-being, and organisational resilience for change, globally and nationally. We provide solutions to continuous learning, lifelong guidance, strategic development of organisations, and to challenges of aligning education and world of work. We develop vocational teacher education and training from a pedagogical perspective to meet the skills needed in future world of work. We also develop and apply research-based digital learning solutions.
The research that we are conducting at HAMK is multidisciplinary applied research, that brings together experts from various fields. Our unit’s operation emphasises four multidisciplinary focus areas and the research groups inside them, through which we develop and implement research and innovation.
