New Board of Häme University of Applied Sciences Appointed

The new board of Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) has been appointed for the next four years.

The new board of Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) has been appointed for the next four years. Tammela and Hattula have a shared seat, which changes every two years.

The board is responsible for fulfilling the duties outlined in the Finnish Companies Act and the Universities of Applied Sciences Act, making decisions on the key objectives, strategy, and principles of governance for the university, and ensuring that the company is organized and managed in accordance with regulations.

The composition of HAMK’s new board is as follows:

City of Hämeenlinna:
Anne Laatikainen, Chair

City of Valkeakoski: Pauliina Kostiainen, 1st Vice Chair
City of Riihimäki: Hanna Hänninen, 2nd Vice Chair
City of Forssa: Pasi Vikman
Municipality of Hattula: Antti Hämäläinen (2025-2027)
Representative of the business community: Sami Kotiniemi
Representative of the students: Mikko Hakala
Representative of the staff: Sanna Kuisma
