Tiina Lehto-Lundén

Principal Research Scientist, tenure track

Social Services

I work as a Principal Research Scientist at Häme University of Applied Sciences in the School of Health and Social Services.

I hold a Doctorate in Social Sciences (D.Soc.Sc.) and I have a Title of Docent in social work, with a specialization in child and family social work. My background includes qualifications as a Licenced social worker (M.Soc.Sc.) and a Bachelor of Social Services (UAS).

In addition to project and research expertise, teaching and pedagogy are also close to my heart, supported by my strong experience in teaching and supervision.

My research interests focus particularly on child and family services, child protection interventions, foster care in child protection, and the experiential knowledge of clients in social welfare and child protection services. I am also enthusiastic about various research methods and their development and application as part of research and development work.
